The Show, CakePHP's very own podcast, has returned from a bit of a dry spell with this new show about the recently passed CakeFest Berlin conference.

Three members of the CakePHP community talk about the conference, some of the talks and include an overall feel for how it was - Nate Abele, Garrett Woodworth and Jeff Loiselle.

You can download the mp3 directly from the Show's website for your listening pleasure. You can also subscribe to their feed if you'd like to get this and future/past episodes.

Felix Geisendorfer has posted about an up coming CakePHP-related event - this year's CakeFest (to be held in Berlin).

I will make this short. The 3rd and so far biggest CakeFest will be held in Berlin, home of Debuggable! From July 9-12, people from all over Europe and the rest of the world will travel to Germany in order to celebrate and learn about the best PHP framework there is.

The even is broken into two parts - the workshop portion (July 9th and 10th) and the actual conference (July 11th and 12th). You can find out more information about the conference at its web site (including registering and reserving your spot!)
