The PHP Advent Calendar is similar in spirit to the <a href="http://perladvent.pm.org/">Perl Advent Calendar</a>, a tradition the Perl community has sustained for several years.

This time, the special guest host is <i>Elizabeth Naramore</i>, a member of the PHPWomen.org group.
