Summary: Creates and maintains highly database driven web products with multiple end user interfaces

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Follow code through different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (Analysis, Design, Code Development, System Integration, End User Testing, Documentation, and Code Maintenance)
• Work closely with development team during the SDLC
• Develop time estimates for project deliverables
• Perform other duties as assigned by IT Manager

Experience:

• 5 + years professional experience using procedural PHP
• 5 + years professional experience using MySQL
• Experience with the following preferred:

  • HTML
  • Web Services
  • XML
  • LAMP Stack
  • JavaScript
  • End User Testing
  • Web Security
  • C/C++
  • PHP 5
  • MySQL 5
  • Subversion/CVS

Qualifications:

• ZEND Certification preferred
• MySQL Certification preferred
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, infrastructure, and networking
• Ability to write documentation, including but not limited to Scope Documents, Design Documents, Release Notes, and Code Comments
• High standard of English and Mathematics

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or closely related field

Physical Demands
Sit up to 8 hours per day, must be able to lift 20-30 lbs occasionally
