For those around the Savannah, Georgia area wanting to get started with PHP and MySQL for web page development, you might want to check out what <a href="http://www.ce.armstrong.edu/courses/cat2/index.html">Armstrong Atlantic State University is offering</a> to help you out - two new classes to bring you up to speed on all that's PHP/MySQL.

The Continuing Education Department is offering a 40-hour bootcamp-style PHP class, using the text "PHP and MySQL Web Development"  (Third Edition) by Luke Welling and Laura Thomson.  Two time frames will be offered - daytime and evening.  The evening course will be Oct. 30th - Nov. 4th. The daytime course will be offered Oct. 13-17th.
