On the heels of the PHP debugger, MarkL wrote in to tell me all about the APC. This is the Alternative PHP Cache, and is a free, open, and robust framework for compiling and caching php scripts. This looks like a really cool way to compile your scripts (maybe even for people like me) who need to make a heavy site a little bit easier on the webserver. Interested?
