Looks like they learned the value of listening to thier users and lowered those prices in a hurry. If you're interested, here's a letter that explains several of the reasons behind the price drop, most of them very significant: The Zend Encoder Unlimited is now US$ 2400 (formerly $6000) and is also available via subscription at $600 a year (and they throw in the Zend IDE and Debugger).
