Well, frankly I'm surprised that there is this much news on a Monday. Oh well, here it comes:
First we have DevShed talking all about Variable Variables. These can be immensely useful and might even make your code faster (gasp!). Also, we have the newest Zend.com weekly summary. This includes some possible info of changing "safe mode" to "restrictive mode" so users know it's not really that safe. And finally, PHPEverywhere has an article about tuning Apache and PHP to work together a bit better. They talk about some common problems and how to bend Apache to your will to fix them.
