Looks like the NewbieNetwork might be getting a run for it's money. Not only is PHPbeginner.com another newbie-oriented site, but it also doesn't use the PHPNuke backend or look (cough). And it looks like it just opened on the 22nd so it's relatively new. Be sure to check them out though - they have their first article about using strings in PHP. So, take a look at the newest addition to the PHP world, PHPBeginner.com.
