Zend Spotlight, PHP/ASP, and Hailstorm
Mar 20, 2001 @ 15:45:04

First off, Zend.com has a new code spotlight, A Better way to Auto Prepend/Append. They suggest not only using the include() but also using PHP's natual prepend/append capability to adhere something to every page parsed. Also, PHPEverywhere has a neat little thread going about 7 Reasons Why PHP is Better than ASP and what the best course of action should be with those two factions. And finally, Microsoft Hailstorm, which uses the .NET stuff to communicate with other services, now has some interoperability with PHP using SOAP and XML-RPC. This could be a cool new thing if this .NET stuff takes off. Might be fun to play with anyway.
