Well, it seems that the guys over at Evilwalrus.com were coding their fingers off in an effort to make the site that much better. See their homepage for a complete listing of the things they changed/added. And, just to jump on the bandwagon, a few other sites have added some new things:
Zend.com has added some new features that allow you to post comments on their articles and get email updates. Also, the NewbieNetwork has just been through a massive upgrade (with the new PHP coming out and all) and is back up and running better than ever. Be sure to check out all of these new things!
