For those that don't know what's going on, our friends at IRC-HTML.com have some software for helpdesks called WebSupport that helps them track things and keep track of various incidents that happen to come along. It also seems that (imagine that) that someone has taken it upon themselves to make an unauthorized duplication of the software (it's registered with the LoC and is not free) and is redistributing it under another name. Now, he doesn't want to have to get to the point of legal action, but is very open to suggestions right now. Also, he's provided the email of the person that we'd need to contact about this: ksimon@plugin-factory.com from the website http://www.plugin-factory.com. So, show some support for a fellow PHP coder and guru and fire off an email telling these people what you really think about people warez-ing software like this.
