PHPEverywhere has a new article posted asking questions like "Is Zend trying for too much, or is their strategy correct? Is competing with Open Source products hurting the long-term growth of PHP?" Some interesting ideas here, be sure to read this.
Also, regarding the tutorials posted yesterday, Derek C wrote in and let me know that besides all of the ways to get your PHP script to work with a cron job, you can also use the shebang line. #!/usr/local/bin/php at the top of your php script. then you can just put in the path to your php script in the cron.
