PHPEveryWhere Page Views, PHP Picnic, and Books
Jul 30, 2001 @ 12:02:47

PHPEverywhere has (finally) passsed the one million mark on page views today! See if yourself! It's good to know that there are some nice stable PHP resources that aren't going anywhere. (We hope to be one of them heh).
Also, for those that are a part of the #php community over on the OpenProjects irc server (well, okay you don't even have to be a part, just be a php coder!), there has been planned a "PHP Picnic" in the area of Trumbull, CT (about 1.5 hrs from NYC). So, you northen people have the advantage this time - I wish I had the funds to be able to take off (well, and the time sigh). Anyway, if you want to go or can get up there, contact RainMkr on the #php channel on the OpenProjects network (irc.openprojects.net).
And, of course, the most important news - I expect the O'Reilly books to get here sometime this week, so keep an eye out for that contest coming up. And remember, if you like PHPDeveloper and want to see it grow and have other cool contests, use that cool little PayPal button over there and help us help you! The more funding we get, the cooler the prizes we get to give. So, what are you waiting for? Donte already! (heh)
