DevShed on XML, Zend Updates, and PHP-GTK
Aug 01, 2001 @ 11:53:41

DevShed has posted the second in their "XML Basics" series. Now, this isn't exactly PHP, but trust me - XML is a good thing. If you have a chance to learn it, do - you'll thank me later. This part in the series talks about entities, namespaces, CDATA, blocks, processing instructions - they're all in here, together with aliens, idiots, secret agents and buried treasure. It's got it all folks!
Zend.com has the latest and greatest this morning with the last part of their "Sending MIME email with PHP series that discusses the last five functions that you'll need to add to the rest they've given to get your MIME emailer to work. If you've been following this one, be sure to read up and get these. This whole series is pretty cool too. Also, they have posted the latest Zend Engine Weekly Chronicle for those that like to follow that too.
And, of course, for those that have yet to have checked out <A href="http://gtk.php-coder.net/"">PHP-GTK, there's no better time like the present. I hadn't heard much about it, so I figured that it wasn't being used that much - boy was I wrong. Head over to http://gtk.php-coder.net/ and check out all the new stuff they have going on over there. Definitely some cool things...now if only I had a few more hours in the day....
