Arts has provided us with yet another link to the seconds part in the Introduction to Functions series that they have over on the OnLamp.com site. This part gets more into variables scope, static variables and how to return values. Those of you out there still just learning this stuff might benefit from this.
It looks like, according to the PHP CVS and PHPEverywhere that PHP 4.0.7 isn't too far off. I suggest we branch 4.0.7 away next Tuesday, and start the QA process. This should give people enough time to make any final changes they want to put into 4.0.7.. Keep watching the PHP site for this update.
Well, I've decided on how I'm going to give the O'Reilly books away at least now. I'm going to set up a little contest with a few PHP-related questions and some questions from the past news here, just to see how much you guys really are reading here! So, watch for that on Monday morning - bright and early! And study up! (heh)
