Well, it looks to me like there's just not much news out there today. I've looked all over, and no one's submitted anything, so you'll just have to do with a little news about us.
It looks like we're going to be moving to a newer (faster) host soon. This'll mean two things. One: phpdev might be out-of-sorts for a few days until nameservers update and all (they'll be two sites floating around and all). The reason we're doing this is that the host we are with now is "okay". They haven't had the best track record (as you people that have been around here a while know). So, we're moving to something a bit better (and more dedicated to phpdev).
So, don't be surprised if something happens and you end up with an older page for a bit. Oh, and for you curious types - we found out that the outages yesterday were caused by a transformer catching fire and shutting down most of their machines. Yipee.
Also, tomorrow is the last day to enter the Book Giveaway! Be sure that you have your entry in and that you have it all correct! Remember that only the ones that answer all of the questions correctly will be entered in the drawing. I'll be announcing the winners at the beginning of next week.
