Well, sorry about that guys..these past few days have been kinda rough at work and all - but let's just say that things are much better and that PHPDeveloper.org will live on! And now, the news:
Lots of links-o-Zend for you this morning, most of which are just catch up...first off, we have the latest PHP Weekly Summary with some of the highlights being the integration with OpenSSL and the continued work on rand().
Also from Zend, we have a book excerpt from "A Programmer's Introduction to PHP4" - the section's titleed Cookies and Session Tracking. This is a pretty good overview on this and has some great sample code. If you've been struggling with sessions/cookies - be sure to check this one out.

One cool thing that got added the other day to PHP.net was the note that Rackspace is providing them with some cool additional hosting for the PHP project. It's great to see good, established comapnies getting behind projects like this and helping them support the load.
