Gee, look at that - it's friday and there's almost no news to speak of. There are a few little things, however. For example, there's a neat new book that talks about integrating PHP with Flash. It seems to be written more geared towards a Flash designer with less detailed code, but so far, it's gotten pretty good reviews. I still think that PHP and Flash is a match made in heaven, and could generate some killer web apps eventually.

Also, Evolt.org has a pretty good new article on "Extreme Programming" and applying it to the web development process. I personally think it's funny that there are "methods" and "practices" when it comes to programming. I mean, who sits around and comes up with "Ya know, I bet if we did it this way..." kinds of things for this?
