Well, to start this week off right, there's a new Weekly Summary from Zend. This week's spotlights the fixes in phpinfo(), MySQL 4.0 threading problems, and a mention of the "echo vs. html output" debate.

Also this morning, thanks to arts for the link to an Intro to PHP Images. This is using the GD software to do some cool things like alter, create, add transparency and even tile an image. Some good code examples here, but you might want to know GD a bit before going in.

Evolt.org has a nice little article with plenty of reading about building a 'virtual community' on a website. This is one of the things that we've tried to do here - and hopefully, the new version will help us in that. I've got a few people that I need to get together now to help and we'll get this thing started. Maybe with coding other than my crappy stuff the site will turn out halfway decient (heh).
