Tobias Schlitt mentioned today that the book from him and fellow co-author Kore Nordmann, a guide to the eZ Components framework, has been made the featured book of the month over on DynamicWebPages.de.

On the website you now find a picture of the book in a very prominent place and an extensive recension (German) linked from there.

Professional-PHP Online Training by DWP

On his blog, Tobias Schlitt points out an offering that DynamicWebpages.de will be offering beginning November 29th (2007) - some Professional PHP online training.

This series of online sessions offers you "24 hours of PHP knowledge, from professionals, to professionals". Topics covered in this series of talks are: Regular Expressions, XML and Webservices, Debugging using Xdebug, Zend Framework, [and more].

Instructors for the courses include Kore Nordmann, Christian Wenz, Stephan Schmidt and "other community known experts". The talks will be in 2 hour long online courses and will only be presented in German. This first time it's being offered, there's a discount for the signups - a 200 Euro discount. DynamicWebPages.de Gets a Facelift

One of the most popular German PHP websites, DynamicWebPages.de has gotten a makeover:

It's been a while, but it was time for a fresher layout. There was even a positive side effect - cleaner code and a performance boost for the new pages. There are also a few new small features included, including the ability to comment on each of the news items. So here's to more fun on DynamicWebPages and a great start to a brand new year!

There's tons of great content on the site, and the new layout only helps to make it all that much more accessible. Great job, Wolfgang - a definite improvement!
