Overview

My client is a venture capital backed technology company specialising in the ever growing Internet blogging space. As part of their continued product development they are looking for a Senior Programmer to proactively expand their range of software products. You will ideally have an expert level of understanding of PHP and other open source technologies, an understanding or knowledge of the Zend Framework is highly advantageous

The ideal candidate is capable of seeing the big picture when it comes to development and must able to code creatively. You are currently either a strong junior/middleweight developer who wants to expand your skill set, or you are a senior developer in a small team who has loads of great ideas that you want to unleash.

The job will involve working with AJAX related technologies, JavaScript, CSS and HTML skills are desirable. An understanding of Web Servers is also required as is exposure to databases. (SQL ORACLE) Also beneficial is an understanding or exposure to the other development languages, i.e. .Net, Java, c/c++ etc.
