Christopher Kunz' Blog:
First impressions of SilverStripe CMS
August 18, 2009 @ 11:57:15

Christopher Kunz has added a new post to his blog talking about some of his experiences with the SilverStripe content management system.

I have recently installed SilverStripe to test if it fits into our shared hosting concept. [...] I'd like to share a couple impressions about the SilverStripe CMS with you.

He looks at the straight-forward installation process, a few wishes he would have liked to see during it and some comments about the admin interface (slow at first, but speeds up once the cache is populated, missing some needed bits of functionality). He suggests SilverStripe for those that don't need much customization - this includes no need for things like plug-and-play modules.
