Phil Sturgeon's Blog:
The CodeIgniter Community goes on holiday to NYC
April 21, 2011 @ 10:55:04

In a new post to his blog Phil Sturgeon talks about a new CodeIgniter-related conference coming to New York in August - CICON2011.

The CodeIgniter Community has decided to have a little holiday this summer, and head to New York for not just a meet up, but the biggest gathering of CodeIgniter developers to ever happen. The last event was in a pokey low budget venue in a rough part of Bristol UK, this event will be right bang smack in the middle of Manhatten, NY with a great venue and some amazing speakers.

Speakers at this year's event, being held August 20th and 21st in New York, include Rick Ellis, Derek Allard, Pascal Kriete, Greg Aker, Phil Sturgeon, Kenny Katzgrau and Eric Barnes. If you'd like more information on the event, check out the conference site or just pick up your ticket now while there's still spots left. Early Bird pricing is $75.00 USD before the event and $95 USD at the door.
