September 15, 2011 @ 12:34:36

A new announcement has come out today about a new Symfony-related event happening at the end of October (on the 29th) in the Ukraine - Symfony Camp UA 2011 (a free event).

The conference Symfony Camp UA 2011 is dedicated to the development of web applications with Symfony PHP Framework (http://symfony.com). The main topic of the conference is the new version of the framework - Symfony 2. It's the third conference of its kind in Ukraine. It'll take place in Kiev on October 29, 2011. If you want to participate in the conference, please, get registered here: (http://bit.ly/qKJUcD). The conference offers free admission!

In 2010 about 110 participants from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Moldova visited our conference dedicated to Symfony. We're still working on the program of the conference. Anyone wanting to make a presentation at Symfony Camp UA can submit a relevant form here: http://2011.symfonycamp.org.ua.

If you're wanting to speak at the event they have a few suggestions for topics such as:

  • Doctrine 2 (ORM, ODM, MongoDB) / Propel 1.6
  • Twig
  • Symfony2 Security
  • Speeding up development with Symfony2
  • Unit and Functional Testing with Symfony2
  • Website migration from version 1.x to 2

To submit your ideas, head over to this form and fill in the relevant information.
