Apache 2.2.0 Released
December 02, 2005 @ 06:56:07

The Apache project has an announcement today about the latest release of their HTTP server - Apache 2.2.0.

The Apache Software Foundation and The Apache HTTP Server Project are pleased to announce the release of version 2.2.0 of the Apache HTTP Server ("Apache").

We consider this release to be the best version of Apache available, and encourage users of all prior versions to upgrade.

You can check out some of the newest features here including: Authn/Authz, Caching, an update of the Regular Expression library, Smart Filtering, and SQL Database support.

Well, what are you waiting for? Get downloading and installing!

UPDATE: here's a mention on Builder.com.au as well...
