Packt Open Source CMS Award Finalists Announced

Back in August, Packt Publishing asked developers/readers/etc to vote on what they thought was the best Open Source CMS out on the web today. Well, the choices have been narrowed down to the top five and have been announced.

The following final five received the most public nominations during the course of the six weeks and are listed in alphabetical order:
  • Drupal
  • e107
  • Joomla
  • Plone
  • Xoops

These finalists will now go through the final voting stage, with the winner being announced on November 14th, 2006. First prize is $5,000 USD, second is $3,000 USD, and third will get $2,000 USD.
