Description: Provide logistical and technological support for communication and marketing strategies via web deployment. Research and implement intranet and internet communication tools. Develop web resources and information infrastructure in the areas of syndication and web 2.0 technologies.

Skill Requirements:

  • Computer Languages: HTML, JAVA, CSS, XML, PHP, Ajax
  • Mac, PC, Linux based platforms
  • Knowledge of web 2.0 applications
  • Web-design experience a must
  • Familiarity with blogging software platforms
Responsibilities
  • Research and implement aggregation tools
  • Produce communication documents from templates to include multi-media and web-tracking
  • Customize e-commerce solution for more effective delivery and customer experience
  • Aid in the creation of page and site templates
  • Implement web standards for email based newsletters and communications via rss
  • Organize news feeds and opportunities for commentary
  • Implement third party APIs and open source technologies for web
Tasks may also include
  • Advising on new systems and internal barriers to digital workflow
  • Research of new technology and identifying news for aggregation
