On the Zend Developer Zone today Cal Evans reminds you about the alumni discounts you can get for this year's ZendCon if you've attended the conference in the past years.

Ah the memories of ZendCon...there are just so many of them. Great session, Keynotes that inspire you to think, and some of the parties can only be described as epic. Alumni, you know what I mean, so join us again and continue the tradition. You know why you should be there, you've done it before and experienced it yourself. The discounts can give you anywhere from $50 USD to $100 USD off the ticket price and if you get tickets before September 10th you can get these discounts off of the already discounted Early Bird prices. You can get your tickets here.

The organizers at Symfony Day 2010 have set up a discount for you to use to register for the event - 50 tickets for 100 Euro (including VAT) - to those using the discount code "PHPDEVSFDAYCGN10".

The German symfony conference will take place in October 8th, 2010 in Cologne. Registration for conference and workshop is now open. Participation is 120 Euro for the day, including food and drinks. The event will take place at Komed in Cologne.

The PHPWomen have officially announced that they will have a presence at this year's PHP UK Conference (2010) and will have a stand in the exhibition hall for those interested in the group or just want to stop off and say hello to attending members.

The PHP UK Conference is now in its fifth year and is bigger and better than ever. Friday’s event has 16 different hour-long talks covering a plethora of topics from some of the world’s best PHP speakers. [...] PHPWomen is a community partner of the event and will have a stand in the exhibition hall amongst a variety of other exhibitors.

Two members will be speaking at the event - Juliette Folmer and Lorna Mitchell - and there's a special offer for PHPWomen members that still haven't purchased their tickets. Keith Casey has posted about user group involvement in this year's CodeWorks conference and their selection of a local speaker to round out their local event.

The official website for this year's Zend/PHP Conference & Expo has been posted with information on dates, some of the sessions and the ability for you to preregister to get the early bird specials. The conference this year will run from October 8th through the 11th and is at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport hotel.

The 2007 conference will bring together PHP practitioners and business managers from around the world for three days of exceptional presentations and outstanding networking events. Join PHP experts and community members who will share their experiences and best practices in a wide variety of sessions.

ZendCon 2007 sessions will cover both the business and technical aspects of PHP. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in in-depth tutorials, case-studies, roundtables and an exhibit hall with leading companies displaying cutting-edge solutions.

So far, only the tutorials (happening on October 8th, first day of the conference) have been posted. These include looks at security in PHP, best practices, and the return of the Zend Certification Crash Course.
