Cal Evans is back today with his latest "live" recap from the floor of this year's O'Reilly Open Source Convention, this time with the happenings of Day Three.

Wow, how times files when you are having fun. After I finished yesterday's wrap-up, I sat through most of the opening session that included Tim O'Reilly's Radar. It was an interesting parade of up and comers who Tim thought we should know about. Unfortunately, none of them were PHP based so it's really not germane to this post. Before it ended I had to duck out anyhow for an interview with Theo Schlossnagle of OmniTI.

They talked about a wide range of subjects, before Theo had to give a talk. By then, though, the conference hall was opened - including access to the vendors (and their swag). Cal also mentions the Lightning Talks (given by Laura Thomson and Zac Greant) as well as Marcus Borger's "presentation" consisting of asking the audience what they wanted to hear about.
