Zend Developer Zone:
Are You Ready to R-R-R-R-RROUNDUP!
April 03, 2006 @ 07:44:49

In an effort to spread the word about what's going on with the Zend Framework from week to week, the Zend Developer Zone has started the first in their series of Framework Roundup posts, detailing the happenings of the previous week.

You know you've been waiting for it. It's one of the highlights of your week. It's the official kickoff of the weekend. Yes, it's the Framework Roundup! Grab yer hats and hip-waders and let's dive right in.

There's mentions of the mailing list being open to patches/code submissions from anyone, a start on a Zend_Mail class, some discussion on the PHP plugin for Eclipse, wonderings on the UTF-8 support for Lucene (Zend_Search), and quite a bit of talk about authorization and access control modules for the framework.

Be sure to check out this and future roundups for the complete weekly story.
