International PHP Magazine:
August 2006 Issue Released
August 14, 2006 @ 07:25:21

As noted in this post on the International PHP Magazine site today, their latest issue has been released - August 2006.

The August issue of the International PHP Magazine is now available on virtual newsstands. The Cover Story by Jaisen Mathai presents an API written in PHP using the JSON format. We will continue to complete an example that lets you create a searchable user list in AJAX consisting of less then 100 lines of code. Once we complete the article you should be able to identify different areas in your applications where combining these concepts and technologies will add value.

Other stories in this edition include:

  • Creating Web Applications Faster with CakePHP by David Berube
  • Elizabeth Naramore's Freelancer's Corner
  • Now Playing RSS - Part II (co-starring SVN) from Nathan Good
  • a book review by Mitchell Pirtle covering "MySQL in a Nutshell"

If you'd like to purchase a copy or just get a subscription to the magazine, head over to their online shop and order today!
