Damien Seguy has passed along this month's PHP statistics for the previous month of September 2007:

Here are the PHP stats for September 2007. To learn about methodology, read la section phpversion. 27.4 millions servers hosted on 2.4 millions IP were surveyed during September, and 11.4 were used for stats : domaines without web sites, those unreachable, ISP, shared hosters or domain parkings were not considered.

Here's the monthly highlights:

  • PHP 5 continue its steady progression : +1% to 23%
  • PHP 4 swan song ?
  • Apache grows to 68,59 %
