The Voices of the ElePHPant podcast has posted their latest interview with a member of the PHP community. In this latest episode host Cal Evans talks with Pierre Joye, a core contributor to the PHP language.

Cal and Pierre talk about PHP 7 and some of the features and updates coming with it. They also point out that if you have good unit tests, you'll be able to catch PHP 7-related issues quickly. They also talk about the work that Pierre does with Microsoft and the team that he works with that contributes to open source projects, including PHP. They also cover a bit more specifically some of the work MS has done to support PHP on the Windows platform.
