News.com:
Zend to show PHP tools in October
July 21, 2006 @ 05:48:55

A new bit of news is shared in this new article frm News.com (imagine that) about the push Zend is making to have version 1.0 of their framework ready to go for their conference in October.

Andi Gutmans is quoted as saying that the target is 1.0 for the conference, but, at the least, there will be a 1.0 release candidate. With the Zend Framwork growing all the time, it's easy to see how they could make this goal (especially with some of the new leadership at the helm spurring on releases).

The article also mentions some of the collaboration that Zend is doing with various companies including IBM and their "PHP Integration Kit" and Yahoo helping them with the upcoming PHP6 version.
